Impact of Anger.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT - AGAIN AND AGAIN.

There was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost temper, to hammer a nail in the back fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. The it gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence." You have done well, my son, but look at the holed in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out, it won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is stil there."

A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one...and can never be taken back.

Fresh Fish Lesson

The japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not held many fish for decades. So to feed the japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish. If the return trip took more than a few days, the fish were not fresh. The Japanese did not like the taste.

To Solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze tham at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen and they did not like frozen fish.

The frozen fish brough a lower price. So fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but alive. Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the diffence. Because the fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish.

So how did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem? How do they get fresh-tasting fish to Japan? If you were consulting the fish industry, what would you reecommend?

How Japanese Fish Stay Fresh:

To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks. But now they add a small shark to each tank. The shark eats a few fish, but most of the fish arrive in a very lively state. The fish are challenged.

IMPORTANT LESSON:

Have you realised that some of us are also living in a pond but most of the time tired and dull, so we need a Shank in our life to keep us awake and moving. Basically in our lives Sharks are new challenges to keep us active and taste better.....

The more intelligent, persistent and competent you are, the more you enjoy a challenge. If your challenges are the correct size, and if you are steadily conquering those challenges, you are Conqueror. You think of your challenges and get energized. Yoou are excited to try new solutions. You have fun. You are alive!!!

就算就算怎样都好，也不应该起哄看热闹吧？助长那三个贱人更大胆，更让受害者更受伤！还看热闹还起哄！没怜悯之心吗？铁石心脏吗？如果受害者是你的亲人你会是什么感受？现在的人是什么人？都应经“进化”成没有感情的畜牲吗？

The Mummy 3: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor (English)

Synopsis:
Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah) to combat the resurrected Qin Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. This time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse that threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.

"The Mummy" returns to the big screen promising more action than ever before - but wait! It wasn't up to expectations actually. Yes, admittedly the trio of Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser), wife Evelyn (this time played by Maria Bello) and bro-in-law Jonathan Carnahan (John Hannah) have stunned me with their spontaneous and believable character play.

Of course it's no surprise to see the fine character delivery from Fraser and Hannah as they have dwelled in the roles since the previous films. Surprisingly, Mario Bello also fits the role as Evelyn, Rick's wife. Being new to the franchise, she fits herself so well into the Evelyn mould that we tend to forget that it used to be Rachel Weisz in that role. Bello made Evelyn hers.

Nonetheless, it was the supporting roles that disappoint me the most. The now grown-up son Alex (played by newcomer Luke Ford), fails to add anything to the established set. It feels as if the O'Connells could do without him! His bulky figure and so-called playboy pick-up lines don't fit the bill. Unlike Rick, the son is more of a college charmer than a young adventurer. The rest, like Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh), Lin (Isabella Leong) and General Yang (Anthony Wong) look steady. However the worst performance here should go to martial arts master Jet Li, who looks too awkward as the Mummy. Something just doesn't seem right - him playing Emperor Han, then frozen up, only to return in the form of a Mummy!

Storywise, there's nothing extraordinary to be expected from this Mummy. The special effects are rather realistic and they are up to the current standards of technology I guess, whereas shots and angles are nicely done to give a more adventurous feel to the quest in the movie. Also, I thought the music score was superb.

Still, Rob Cohen didn't really impress me with his visualisation and presentation of this movie. Little impact could be felt when leaving the cinema hall. I would say it's a disappointment but I guess this will pass as some mindless entertainment for all until the next Mummy...

喝汽水的人都知道

Chelsea end Asian Tour with goals from Anelka and Cole

SHAH ALAM: English Premier League giants Chelsea wrapped up their Asian Tour in style after carving out a 2-0 win over a Malaysia Selection in front of some 50,000 fans at the Shah Alam Stadium last night.

The stadium was a sea of blue as Chelsea fans came out in droves to catch a glimpse of their favourite team ahead of the new EPL season.

The Malaysian had little to offer but can still hold their heads high after conceding just two goals, compared the thrashing Chelsea’s previous two opponents – Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals (4-0) and Shengdu Blazers (7-0) – received last week.

In hot pursuit: Malaysia’s Safee Sali trying to break away from a pack of Chelsea players during the friendly match at the Shah Alam Stadium yesterday.

Last night, Nicolas Anelka put the Blues ahead in the 27th minute and Ashley Cole wrapped up the proceedings with the second in the 54th.

New Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari fielded a strong starting line-up, comprising three England internationals – skipper John Terry, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole.

Surprisingly, it was the Malaysians who had the first good look at goal in the third minute when Amirulhadi Zainal’s stiff grounder beat the diving Petr Cech but missed the target by inches.

After that, however, it was all one-way traffic as Chelsea kept the Malaysian defence – marshalled by Norhafiz Zamani Misbah and Mohd Aidil Zafuan – busy.

With the Malaysians in sixes and sevens, and Anelka proving too hot for rightback Mohd Fauzi Nan to contain, it wasn’t long before Chelsea opened accounts.

The breakthrough came in the 27th minute when Anelka stole into the box to score past the onrushing goalkeeper Mohd Helmi Eliza Elias.

The Kedah custodian, however, deserves praise as he had earlier made three superb saves, including a cracking first-timer by Chelsea new boy Deco in the 14th minute.

Helmi had also stopped Anelka’s low grounder in the 16th minute and Michael Essien’s shot from inside the box in the 23rd minute.

Big Phil then made four changes at the start of the second-half, bringing in Alex for Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole for Wayne Bridge, Florent Malouda for Cole and Paulo Ferreira for Shaun Wright Philips.

At the half-way mark of the second-half, Scolari fielded Andriy Shevchenko for Deco, Carlo Cudicini for Cech and Franco Di Santo for Anelka.

Cole had barely been on the pitch when he made his presence felt, connecting Lampard’s pass into goal in the 54th minute.

In the end, it turned out to be an entertaining fare for the fans and a good experience for the Malaysian boys ahead of their preparations for the Merdeka Tournament in October and the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Championships in December.

向中国漫画家廖冰兄致敬

廖冰兄1915年生于广州，原名东生(取生在广东之意)。年幼丧父，阿妈为了养活兄妹俩，只得改嫁一个广西人。后因生活所迫，把6岁的妹妹廖冰抵押给别人，兄妹分离，他痛苦不已，为了表达对妹妹的感情，廖东生在发表作品时署名“廖冰兄”——廖冰的哥哥，从18岁以后一直沿用这个名字。阿妈改嫁后，他跟贫苦的外婆在贫穷的小巷里生活。不足20岁的廖冰兄，就以一个“狂妄”才子的身份跻身趋于成熟的中国漫画界，承接了早期漫画人创立的中国漫画事业。廖冰兄晚年多以书法、绘画和小品为扶贫助学筹款集资，有一段时期喜画重彩风景画（曾发表于1995年《美术》杂志），多以广东水乡为题材，融中国画、西洋画、儿童画、版画、水彩、水粉画于一身，形成独特的艺术风格。
《禁鸣》（原名：枭暴）1945年秋，全民抗日胜利结束，国民党反动派即图谋发动内战，独吞胜利果实，使中国依然置于其独裁的黑暗统治下。而中国共产党与人民则力求实现和平、民主，使中国走向光明。为了揭示这场关系国家命运的斗争的意义，冰兄以得逞于黑夜的鸱鸺钳制呼唤光明的雄鸡构成此画，题为《枭暴》。然此画于1947年初在香港被盗。 "文革"期间，林彪、四人帮把光明的中国人民推落法西斯统治的黑暗深渊，张志新痛斥其恶行，惨遭割喉枪杀，1979年冰兄重绘此画，悼念这位为保卫光明而献身的猛士，画题改为《禁鸣》，但是又于1981年在法国展出时被窃。此画再于1991年重绘，现已捐赠给广州艺术博物院此画记录了两番性质相同的历史――光明与黑暗的搏斗；画的本身亦遭两番同样的恶运――被窃。 蝇的株连（1994年）　　

说明：此画记录了极左路线制造的历次政治运动――用重磅炸弹对付一只苍蝇，炸弹之下是无数无辜的良民，画面令人瞩目惊心。

Phuket island is located at the southern part of Thailand.

Majority of the citizen there is chinese. But they are cant speak chinese well as malaysia. Most of them onli can speak Thai, only minority of the silver hair citizen can speak chinese.

Language is not a main problem between us, most important is the foods over there is damn tasty. It absolutely different from Bangkok's food.

Phuket well-known with beaches and night life. The Thai girls over there are hotter than red sun. When im pass by the street. The Thai girl will shout, " Hey guy, you are so handsome, I love You". :-) I know im not as handsome as Danial,not as yengzai as Tom Cruise, but when the time heard they called like this still feeling very syok.

If compare redang and phuket, I prefer redang more than phuket. Redang life more peaceful and more quite. Maybe im d type who like natural. So i place Redang in my 1st place. If u prefer night life, Phuket is the best island to go.

Phuket also one of the location that having bungee jump this extreme high blood pressure activity. The price is around rm150/jump. Other than phuket, chingmai and pattaya are the places that still having this activities.

I join the 1 day tour during the third day of my trip.. The place that the tour offer is Floating market, Kwai River bridge and tiger temple.

I think every 1 also heard about floating market before.. From Bangkok to Floating market, it take around 2 hours by van. The distance is around 15okm. i think every one sure curious why it take long time to reach there. Haha, act i also duno why the driver so follow the rule. Whole journey also 90km/h.

Floating market is just like the normal market i go. It sell whatever things that is can find in our Pasar. But the different is we are not walking during in the market but we are on the Sampan. If you want to buy something, you just order the sampan aunty stop the sampan near the stall then you can start bargain with the boss., In Thailand, anything also can bargain before you pay money, even foods also can request for discount.. It funny rite?


The Kwai river bridge is the bridge that is build during world war 2. This bridge is connecting Burma and Thailand. During world world 2, the soldier kidnap the south east Asia guy and force them to build the railway. So this Railway also call as Death Railway. The main purpose of this bridge is for the Japanese soldier send the goods between Burma and Thailand.

Until today, this railway is still operate. 1day 2trains will pass by the bridge..And Im so lucky that when the time im at there, i can meet the train...

I know an Australia friend in the Kwai river bridge, it really "ngam" also that this joker also name as Darrick.

"Tiger Temple, or Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, is a Buddhist temple in Western Thailand which keeps numerous animals, among them several tigers that walk around freely once a day and can be petted by visitors.

The Theravada Buddhist temple is located in the Saiyok district of Thailand's Kanchanaburi province, not far from the border with Myanmar, some 38 km north-west of Kanchanaburi along the 323 highway. It was founded in 1994 as a forest temple and sanctuary for numerous wild animals. In 1995 it received the Golden Jubilee Buddha Image, made of 80 kilograms of gold.

According to the abbot and others associated with the temple, in 1999 the temple received the first tiger cub, it had been found by villagers and died soon after. The story goes that several tiger cubs were later given to the temple over time, typically when the mothers had been killed by poachers, others who wanted to get rid of their tiger "pets" or those were under pressure to do so as laws and policies surrounding the keeping of cites protected species became more strict. As of 2007, over 21 cubs have been born at the temple and the total number of tigers is about 12 adult tigers and 4 cubs.

The subspecies of these tigers is unknown as none of them have been DNA tested, but it is thought that they are Indochinese Tigers, except Mek (a Bengal Tiger). There is also a possibility that there may be some of the newly discovered Malayan Tigers and it is likely that many are cross breeds or hybrids.

They spend most of the time in cages, being fed with cooked chicken, beef and dry cat food. The meat is boiled to avoid giving the tigers a taste for blood and also to kill the bird flu that may be present in raw fowl. According to the temple website the dry cat food replaces nutrients, such as taurine, that are lost when the meat is cooked.

They are washed and handled by Thai monks, as well as local staff, and international volunteers. Once a day they are walked on leashes to a nearby quarry. Originally they would roam around freely in this area but now, with the increase in visitors and the amount of tigers who sit in the canyon, are chained. The staff closely guide visitors as they greet, sit with, and pet the cats. The staff keep the tigers under control and the abbot will intervene if the tiger gets agitated. Nervous tourists may also observe this from about 10 metres away. The temple collects donations for feeding and upkeep, and to fund the building of a larger tiger sanctuary which would allow the animals to live in an almost natural environment all day long.

The Tiger Temple practices a different conservation philosophy than in the west. In western zoos and parks the emphasis is on providing a natural environment for the animals. In the temple, at least until the sanctuary is completed, the animals seem to be treated more as family members. Although it may be possible for the offspring of the current generation to return to the wild, their parents will live out a life within the temple grounds. Their conservation philosophy seems to be working, while projects elsewhere often need to resort to artificial insemination. Over 10 cubs have been born at the temple in the last three years despite having no breeding program whatsoever.

The temple opens daily for visitors at about 1pm, and the tigers are walked back to their enclosures at around 4pm. Due to the pressing need for income, the temple now charges 300 Baht admission. The most common way of visiting the temple is to go on a tour from nearby Kanchanaburi for 300 Baht per head, or to hire your own Songthaew from the bus station for a group for less than 1000 Baht. Day trips are also available from Bangkok. Prices current as of July 2006 and do not include temple entrance fee. The temple now receives 300 to 600 visitors a day. There are donations boxes in various locations around the temple for those who wish to support the sanctuary. To get photos with the tigers, visitors are asked to give a donation.

Controversy

Conservation organizations charge that the tigers at the temple are not rescued wild tigers, but are obtained by illegally trading with black market tiger farms. They say the real purpose is making money, not helping tigers. The groups also criticize the Tiger Temple for interbreeding different subspecies of tigers, which they say violates conservation principles. Abuse of tigers at the temple has been reported by some visitors.

An investigation by Care for the Wild International (CWI) revealed evidence of illegal tiger trade, animal cruelty, false conservation claims and visitor safety risks based on information collected between 2005 and 2008. The CWI investigative report was released on 20th June 2008."
